To facilitate demand, the After School Care Service will now be available throughout the
summer 2012 - June, July & August from 8.30 am - 6pm.
Pre School
Pre-School is available for boys and girls who will be aged 3 by April of year of entry.
Composed of didactic material developed by Maria Montessori, with additional supplementary materials and activities, the children learn by experiencing the joy of individual and group discovery.
For the pre-school child we foster the process of self-creation by providing an environment where a child can develop independently at his or her own pace; while still gaining those social; physical, emotional and learning skills required to function best in society.
The day begins at 8.45 am and finishes at 1.30 pm, with the Montessori programme ending at 12.30 pm. After school care is available if required until 6.00 pm.
Applications for pre-school are accepted on receipt of application form and registration fee. Parents are invited to attend an Open Morning. This is followed by interview with parents and observation session with the children.

In the increasingly uncertain world to which we are preparing them, providing continuity and stability from Pre-School to Leaving Certificate develops this confidence and the skills they need to make their way in the world.
